Our first Kodak Nexpress 2500 also has had the inline bookletmaker added to it. The inline bookletmaker can produce saddlestitch booklets up to 13 x 9 finished size. It also can be used offline to do hybrid work, mixing offset printed pieces or black only Kodak Digimaster E125 output in its 8 collating bins.

The Bureau is proud to announce that it has completed the install of a Kodak Nexpress 2500. We are pleased at the quality it provides plus the added features and functionality beyond what we can do today with our Xerox iGen3.

The Kodak Nexpress 2500 is as productive as the iGen3 but offers higher resolution printing and a fifth color station which can produce red, green or blue spots which extend the gamut beyond traditional CMYK devices to achieve better Pantone reproduction. Also, the fifth station is cabable of laying down clear toner which provides a protection coat similar to a satin varnish. We also purchased a NexGlosser which when used in conjunction with the clear toner produces a flood UV like high gloss finish on a variety of smooth coated stocks.

We can’t wait for our Watkiss bookletmaker to be installed to provide the same inline bookletmaking capabilities that our iGen3 has. Look for this add on to be installed later in July.

Meanwhile, you can email sales@thebureau.com for price quotes.
